Velkavrh, in picture 4 it's probably Sternberg's pink - nowhere does it show more flowers on one stem than the Montpellier one has. In picture 5 it's the blood-red pink and not the common one. I don't know the Croatian and Romanian ones.

These two pinks from Romania also grow with our neighbors the Austrians - both are supposedly quite common in the northeastern and eastern central Alps. I haven't found them in Austria myself yet.

malenka, the tuberous knapweed I was looking for a couple of years ago two years in a row around the alpine pasture where it's supposed to grow, but I never found it. Black false hellebore I also searched for in vain along the Sava River. Marsh lousewort I also searched for in vain on the Pokljuka marshes. I have time with this miserable weather and I'm browsing a bit what I photographed several years ago. The first three pictures of primroses I took all in Luknja gorge - that's behind Draga valley near Begunje. Are they really different or variations of Wulfen's primrose? I think that on picture one and three they are not Wulfen's primroses, because the leaves are completely different from Wulfen's. On the second picture the leaves aren't visible. What do you say, malenka? Thanks for the answer!

All are Wulfen's. The habitat is low-lying, so some might be a bit different.

Again I borrowed the Little Flora of Slovenia from the library. I was checking among other things primroses. According to our most comprehensive guidebook, 13 species grow here. We have two subspecies for the bitter one and three for the meadow one. Just for the meadow one my picture got lost somewhere, although it grows on the neighbor's unfertilized slightly moist meadow. Some year ago on Vele Polje, actually almost in that stream, I photographed violet primrose. Right on my little meadow one of the two bitter primroses grows and also the stemless primrose. In Austria on a pasture, wet marshy pasture it was - 1700m, I photographed a large stand of quite tall violet primrose. In Romania also at 2500 near the high alpine lake exactly violet primrose.

malenka somehow gave me the idea to check the status of my bird's-eyes. For the marsh one I wrote that I searched for it in vain on Pokljuka at the Poljuška marshes. The pink one I probably saw several times already, only that I confuse it with the capit ate one. I don't know the tuberous and the tufted one. The elongated one I already photographed, but currently can't find the picture. But I have Mayer's, which is not in the Little Flora of Slovenia. This is a hybrid between the capit ate and the Julian one and I found it on Črna prst already in 2012. Some year ago it was officially confirmed.
