Which flower is this?

Today, alone, to Verner and also from there for myself and for all of us beautiful mountain flowers. There are more such ones that will be published for the first time this season.

Spring refuses to say goodbye. Around Vodnikov dom and towards Bohinjska vrata everything is still under deep snow.

As many alpine hairy saxifrages as you want.

I didn't know it was so delicately blue-colored underneath.

Yellow milje is just starting to bloom here.

Long-stemmed mračica is still holding on.

On the path from the pass towards Vodnikov dom mostly Pyrenean osivnica.

The biggest surprise here - red or newly unconfirmed bicoloured murka.

First time this season - pot-bellied marmot.

Here I find four saw-worts - capitated one.

Below the hut I head directly to Velo polje meadow then inspect Malo polje and by the meandering stream find these two beauties - meadow waxcaps - identified by Alenka.

Then I return to the hut and head to Bohinjska vrata on Verner - lots of Bohinjski repnjak on the path.

Almost still in snow I find glacier phyteuma.

Now the highlight of today's hike. On Verner itself huge amounts of Triglav gentian.

Many rocks were wrapped in this blue, which did not hurry me to the top.

As the last flower I present the third peak of today's tour - Widder's gentian - I found it on the Velo polje pasture.

I am adding two more - more rarely seen and somehow inconspicuous - pale clover. It grows only high in the mountains.

This is the alpine willow - very small, I'd say a bonsai shrub, which then has an interesting fruit.

These are the fruits of the alpine willow.

Whoever would miss the first primroses on Vernar. The flowers have not yet fully opened, nevertheless.

velkavrh, bravo! The planned trip was obviously beautiful and successful in every way. You served us again with wonderful photos. You didn't name some flowers from Lipanski vrh. Because they are already well known? Didn't you encounter yellow and Pannonian fritillary here? Besides hellebore /first photo/ there are quite a few of them. Probably not blooming yet. Lp

otiv, we were close to each other.

no. 2 and 10 - wood crane's-bill
no. 4 July flax
no. 11 dioecious sedge
no. 13 common calamint
no.14 rose root
no. 15 heart-leaved hepatica, we also have common and long-stemmed.

I also learned something new today, namely Nigritello widderi, thanks. There's lots of yellow mile everywhere. I'm wondering where you've all seen the blue one.

I saw it years ago on Mangart, would like to see it again, but lower down. Looks like it won't happen-))

Not planning to go to Mangart this year. But this month to Krn, Kanin, and a bit over the border around Špiki - peaks above planina Pekol really attract me. First up this Friday - three-day tour, named it Triglavska. Two nights at Prehodavci regardless of weather. Planning second day Popravec, Kanjavec, Dolič and to Triglav. If bad conditions or too much snow to Triglav I'll shorten. In the past week observed Triglav twice - Rjavina and yesterday Vrenar, seems too snowy. We'll see! Actually nature is really a week late. Nowhere sign of blooming stone forget-me-nots, bells, gentians. Saw košutnik leaves yesterday too. Last year overtook blooming then missed it. Would like to photograph both species precisely. L.P.
