The mid-mountain has whitened again and delayed the flowering of the first mid-mountain flowers again. I went on a trip along the Kokra river.

Are you picking ramsons, Brane? It's just sprouting here. It's surely blackthorn. The leaves on 10 remind me of scissor-leaved bird's-foot trefoil, on 11 of butcher's broom.

Today on Golovec already noticed flowering blueberries and almost didn't believe my eyes. Maybe in May already blue.

Vito, maybe they'll bear twice.

Yes, would be good, but picking blueberries twice a year isn't easy either, poor my back.

Thanks for the flowering greeting, acts like first aid, of course for soul and heart, for anything else, go to the doctor.

Happy to share a tip, but I don't know everything perfectly either. Yeah, retirees always lack time. Mornings we tidy up, afternoons we look for where we put things.

otiv, nice. I see that you find even more little flowers than I do in nearby forests and glades. Under Nos. 2 and 3 is golden saxifrage - judging by the hairy stem it's hairy golden saxifrage. I haven't seen it this year yet. Under Nos. 4 and 8 you have common hare's-foot trefoil. Under Nos. 5 and 9 you have forest vetch. Under No. 6 forest starflower - starflower can be up to half a meter tall, No. 10 almond-leaved spurge, No. 11 is three-leaved bittercress - at least I think. Common wintergreen, which we already know well, you have on three pics. Otiv, or will it be the same with me in a year and a half?

But I have already seen hairy golden saxifrage this year. This "three-leaved bittercress" confuses me a bit, since the leaf rosette isn't visible. Vito, you'll have to repeat it . The flowers confirm it's a crucifer. Hairs are visible on the stem and some lance-shaped leaflets, which isn't typical for this bittercress, right, Brane? Unless they are already seed pods. Lp

I jumped right back into nature, took another pic for identification.

I found otiv's white crucifer. This is undoubtedly sand bittercress. I recognized it by the white flowers of Kamniški vrh. We recognize it by leaves in the basal rosette and by branched growth. Crucifers characteristically have four petals.

I'm back and see that identification is progressing. Brane, I agree with your diagnosis. I had this plant in mind too. When I find time, I'll look at yours, no. 6.

Brane, what about alpine braya? Braya alpina?

It'll hold - I already sent it for identification, but I couldn't determine it. Probably I've seen it elsewhere too, just it didn't catch my eye or it's so rare few know it. I need to check Flora Alpina where it grows. After the review, I found they have it in the Ljubljana botanical garden. After this review, I see it's very widespread in the USA. I'll check Hoppe too.

The day was wonderful, so I expect new pics from you two. For the soul towards evening I too shot some flowers, but it won't go, won't go. All blurry. Gotta read instructions or ask you two, Brane and Otiv.
