Thanks for the link, which didn't show the picture to me but I took the time anyway and looked at the sawfly pictures. I'd say I photographed (no. 4) the spruce sawfly

Sorry that the picture didn't show up for you. It opens nicely for me. Yes, it's the Great spruce bracket, exactly like yours. lp

En-goldy, you're not only a top alpinist, but also author of wonderful professional shots of beautiful nature. Really a big positive surprise - congratulations!

Thanks Lino, but "top alpinist" I still am not, nor have I ever been. The word "top" is too strong.

En-goldy, let him be an excellent alpinist, so that the wolf is full and the goat whole.

Capraibex, is this wonderful picture with sky resembling volcanic lava real, or did you help yourself with some photo filter? Lp

What filter, no picture ever computer-processed. Canon SX 130, already made over 5000 shots.

en-goldy, with such—as you say—interesting photos you can delight us more often. They are beautiful, from various fields, mountains, animal and plant world, the whole web of photos is wonderful. But I don't get how you made that sunflower - very very interesting, unique. Also leaf motif, macro shots of stem and ray florets are thrilling, sunflower seeds, roses I can't resist anyway...ah, then I've almost touched each one separately. Surely you have more of these artworks in stock... just share some with us! Greetings

Thanks Zlatica.....well ok, I'll share another interesting photo with you, as they say, sharing is nice. The sunflower motif was photographed with light metering setting in "spot" system. This means light is measured only in one point, this time in the center and the surroundings which in this case are not important are overexposed.
