Kahlkogel/Golica

Description of mountain:
Golica is an unvegetated peak located north of Jesenice. From the summit, where a registration box is placed, there is a fine view of the western Karavanke and part of the Julian Alps with Triglav. The most suitable time to visit Golica is May, as narcissi then bloom on the surrounding slopes and adorn the entire area. To preserve the narcissi, do not pick the flowers so that future generations can also admire them. In the past, Kadilnik's hut also stood on the summit.
