Kalanov hrib (Kalanček)

Description of mountain:
Kalanov hrib, or Kalanček as the locals like to call it, is a hill located above Gladež, a settlement in Izlake in the municipality of Zagorje ob Savi. It is one of the most popular and most visited hills in the northwestern part of the municipality. The summit offers views to the north towards Čemšeniška planina, Menina planina, and Golte. To the south there is a wonderful view towards Pleše, Marela, Vrh, Kum, as well as Javor, Mrzlica, and Vrhi to the northeast. The hill is easily accessible with several paths leading to the top, where a clearing awaits with the mentioned views, a logbook, bench, and table for resting.
