Mala Košuta

Description of mountain:
Mala Košuta (in German: Kleine Koschuta) is a 1740 m high peak located at the far eastern end of the Košuta ridge. From the summit, which drops steeply towards Austria, a beautiful view opens up over the eastern part of Košuta, the nearby Plešivec, and part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
Recently, some people have started using the name Meli Košuta, which is incorrect—Meli refers only to the crumbly slope on the Austrian side of the ridge between Mala Košuta and Tolsta Košuta, over which a marked trail runs, maintained by the Slovenian mountaineering club in Celovec.
