Monte Coglians (Hohe Warte) is, at 2,780 meters, the highest mountain of the Carnic Alps. From the summit, which has a cross and a bell, there is a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Carnic Alps; in fine weather, the view extends to Triglav, Ankogel, and Marmolada. The mountain is also known for the military battles that took place here during World War I.
