Mrzlica

Description of mountain:
In recent years, Mrzlica has become an extremely popular excursion spot, especially for visitors from Savinjska valley and Zasavje. At 1,122 meters above sea level, it is the fourth highest peak in Zasavsko hribovje, offering exceptional views like those from Kum, as all nearby peaks are much lower.
According to some data, the hut on Mrzlica is the most visited mountain station in Slovenia's midlands. Managed by the Trbovlje mountaineering association, it provides 67 beds in 18 rooms. The youngest visitors are also catered for, with numerous playgrounds on the meadow in front of the hut, usually well maintained.
The hut itself is slightly below the Mrzlica summit (around 30 meters), and a steep path through the forest leads to the top. There is a panoramic board at the summit for good orientation.
