Description of mountain:
Peace, silence, varied terrain... these are characteristics of the peak at the crossroads of numerous paths between the Maribor, Celje, and Ptuj areas. Plešivec, also called Plejš by locals, is a domed, elongated hill or peak between Boč to the west and Donačka gora to the east. Optimal connections in the eastern Karawanks run over Plešivec. Due to its domed shape, it lacks a distinct summit. Unlike Boč and Donačka gora, it is heavily covered with conifers. At 822 meters, it is notably the highest point on the Marian pilgrimage route. An excellent habitat for numerous animal and plant species.
