Potoški Stol

Description of mountain:
Potoški Stol is located between Stol and Vajnež on the border with Austria. A cross stands just a few metres below the grassy summit. The finest view is of the neighbouring Stol, seen from the west, including part of its north face. Lower to the left of Stol is the Celovška koča hut on the Austrian side, with the panoramic Ovčji vrh above it. To the north lies Austria with the Drava Valley, and slightly further left Vajnež and part of the western Karawanks. On the Slovenian side, the Julian Alps are visible, along with almost all of Upper Carniola (Gorenjska) and Lake Bled below.
