The saddle is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Sankt Jakob-Breitenau and 4 km north from the center of Sankt Erhard. The nearest mountain hut is Ottokar-Kernstock-Haus, located 7km west-southwest. A little further is Eiserne-Kling Hütte. The saddle is located southwest of the valley Glawockengraben.
