Description:
Dornkogel is 1336 meter high peak with a registration box in the Prealps East of the Mur. The peak is located in country Austria 2 km north-northeast from the center of Sankt Erhard and 3 km east-northeast from the center of Sankt Jakob-Breitenau. The nearest mountain hut is Gaston-Lippitt-Hütte, located 6km south. A bit closer is Eiserne-Kling Hütte, which is located 5km to the southwest. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Glawockengraben.
