The saddle is located 3 km east from the center of Lappach - Lappago and 3 km north-northwest from the center of Mühlwald - Selva dei Molini and 0.9 km southeast of peak Zinsnock. The nearest mountain hut is Chemnitzer Hütte - Rifugio Porro, located 5km north-northwest. A little further is Obermoaralm. The saddle is located west of the valley Tauferer Tal.
