Kaninska škrbina / Forcella del Canin is a saddle at an altitude of 2494 meters located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Slovenia and the country of Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Dom Petra Skalarja, located 2km east-southeast. Closer is bivouac Jamarski bivak, which is located 1.5km to the southeast. North-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Ghiacciaio del Canin. The saddle is located west of the valley Krnica and a marked path leads to the saddle. The saddle is located above Kaninski podi.
