Description:
Mali Kanin / Canin basso is 2577 meter high peak with a cross located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located on the border between the country of Slovenia and the country of Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Dom Petra Skalarja, located 2km east. Closer is bivouac Jamarski bivak, which is located 1.6km to the east-southeast. 0.7 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Ghiacciaio del Canin. The peak is located west of the valley Krnica. The peak is located above Kaninski podi.
