Karlscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 1941 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 3 km southwest of peak Hintere Gstemmerspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Schrabachalm, located 2.0km north-northeast. Jagdhütte is a bit further away. Southwest of the saddle is the valley Rantengraben.
