The nearest mountain hut is Kasseler Hütte, located 3km northwest. Alpenverein Ahrntal is a bit further away. 1.7 km west from the saddle there is glacier Westliches Stillupkees, 2 km northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Grasleitenkees. Northwest of the saddle is the valley Stillupgrund.
