Description:
Kofeljoch is a saddle at an altitude of 1777 meters in the Ammergau Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Germany. The nearest mountain hut is Dürrenbergalm, located 1.4km south-southwest. A little closer is Kofelalm, which is located 0.5km to the east-northeast. 5 km northwest of the saddle there is lake Alpsee. Southwest of the saddle is the valley Lechtal.
