The saddle is located 5 km west-southwest from the center of Trafoi and 10 km west from the center of Sulden - Solda and 0.3 km south of peak Piz da las Trais Linguas - Dreisprachenspitze - Cima Garibaldi near the border with Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Garibaldi - Dreisprachenspitze, located 0.2km north. And bivouac Locatelli Ninotta is also close by. 2 km south-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Ebenferner - Vedreta Piana, 3 km south-southeast from the saddle there is also Vitelli Glacier.
