Description:
Schwarzwandscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3058 meters in the Stubai Alps. The saddle is located 0.5 km east-southeast of peak Schwarzwandspitz - Croda Nera di Malavalle near the border with Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Becherhaus - Rifugio Gino Biasi al Bicchiere, located 2km northeast. A little further is Winterraum. 1.9 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Triebenkarlasferner, 3 km southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Hangender Ferner. West of the saddle is the valley Windachtal.
