Valginjoch

Description:
Valginjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3098 meters and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Weißkugelhütte - Rifugio Pio XI alla Palla Bianca, located 3km south. A little further is bivouac Holzer Hütte. 6 km southeast from the saddle there is glacier Langtauferer-Joch-Ferner, 6 km south from the saddle there is also glacier Freibrunner Ferner - Vedretta della Fontana. The saddle is located north of the valley Langtauferer Tal - Vallelunga.
