Hintere Karlesspitze

Description:
Hintere Karlesspitze is 3160 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Weißkugelhütte - Rifugio Pio XI alla Palla Bianca, located 4km south-southeast. A little further is bivouac Holzer Hütte. 6 km south from the summit there is glacier Freibrunner Ferner - Vedretta della Fontana, 7 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Langtauferer-Joch-Ferner. The peak is located north of the valley Langtauferer Tal - Vallelunga.
