Description:
Zahn is 3307 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 11 km north-northwest from the center of Kurzras - Maso Corto and 14 km west of Vent. The nearest mountain hut is Weißkugelhütte - Rifugio Pio XI alla Palla Bianca, located 3km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Holzer Hütte. 5 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Langtauferer-Joch-Ferner, 6 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Hintereisferner. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Langtauferer Tal - Vallelunga.
