The nearest mountain hut is Rauhekopfhütte, located 4km east. bivouac Holzer Hütte is a bit further away. 7 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Langtauferer-Joch-Ferner, 8 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Bliggferner. South of the summit is the valley Langtauferer Tal - Vallelunga.
