Viehkogelnieder is a saddle at an altitude of 2021 meters and is part of the Berchtesgaden Alps. The saddle is located 0.2 km south of peak Viehkogel near the border with Germany. The nearest mountain hut is Kärlinger Haus, located 1.2km north-northeast. A little closer is Viehkogelhütte, which is located 0.6km to the northwest. Southwest of the saddle is the valley Vorderglemmtal.
