Description:
Brandenberg is 2302 meter high peak in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The peak is located 7 km north-northeast from the center of Krallerwinkl and 7 km north-northwest from the center of Hinterthal. The nearest mountain hut is Riemannhaus, located 3km west-southwest. A bit closer is Schäferhütte, which is located 1.8km to the west-southwest. Southwest of the summit is the valley Vorderglemmtal.
