Description:
Aperer Freiger is 3262 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 12 km south-southwest of Volderau and 12 km northwest of Ridnaun - Ridanna. The nearest mountain hut is Müllerhütte - Rifugio Cima Libera, located 1.5km south. Winterraum is also relatively close. 0.6 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Aperer Freiger Ferner (Rest), 1.1 km west from the summit there is also glacier Fernerstube. The peak is located northeast of the valley Windachtal.
