The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhütte Schneeberg - Rifugio Monteneve, located 1.4km east-southeast. Saltnusser Alm is a bit further away. 4 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Hangender Ferner, 6 km north from the summit there is also glacier Triebenkarlasferner. Northwest of the summit is the valley Windachtal.
