Brenntenberg Ostgipfel is 1219 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 6 km south-southwest from the center of Neukirchen bei Altmünster and 8 km west-northwest from the center of Roith and 2 km north of peak Hochhirn. The nearest mountain hut is Rieder Hütte, located 3km south-southeast. A bit closer is Hinterseestube (Jhtt.), which is located 1.3km to the northwest. 1.5 km northeast of the peak there is lake Vorderer Langbathsee. Southwest of the summit is the valley Weißenbachtal.
