Brettstein is 1820 meter high peak in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The peak is located in country Germany 8 km southeast from the center of Unken and 8 km east-northeast from the center of Sankt Martin bei Lofer. The nearest mountain hut is Neue Traunsteiner Hütte, located 3km north. A little further is Diaz Kasa. The peak is located east of the valley Pillerseetal.
