Bucklberg is 543 meter high peak and is part of the Prealps East of the Mur. The peak is located 1.0 km southeast from the center of Laßnitzhöhe and 1.6 km northwest from the center of Nestelbach bei Graz. The nearest mountain hut is Oidi Hulzhitt'n, located 25km northwest. A bit closer is bivouac Pavillon, which is located 9km to the west-southwest. Northwest of the summit is the valley Annengraben.
