Falkenstein

Description:
Falkenstein is 1711 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 3 km west-southwest of peak Blauspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Bergrettungshütte, located 2km south. A little further is bivouac Gurner Alm. 6 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Gradötzkees. The peak is located northeast of the valley Iseltal.
