Hohes Tor

Description:
Hohes Tor is a saddle at an altitude of 2477 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.9 km northwest of peak Blauspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Sudetendeutsche Hütte, located 3km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Gurner Alm. 4 km north from the saddle there is glacier Gradötzkees, 8 km northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Teischnitzkees. The saddle is located above the valley Dorfer Tal.
