Description:
Bretterwandspitze is 2887 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.3 km west of peak Vordere Kendlspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Sudetendeutsche Hütte, located 1.4km north. bivouac Gurner Alm is also relatively close. 3 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Gradötzkees, 8 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Fruschnitzkees. The peak is located west of the valley Dorfer Tal.
