Dürrenfeldscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2823 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 5 km northeast from the center of Hinterburg and 6 km northeast from the center of Kaltenhaus. The nearest mountain hut is Sudetendeutsche Hütte, located 1.1km northwest. A little further is bivouac Gurner Alm. 2 km north from the saddle there is glacier Gradötzkees, 7 km northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Fruschnitzkees. East of the saddle is the valley Dorfer Tal.
