Faulkogel is 2654 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 2 km west-northwest of peak Mosermandl. The nearest mountain hut is Franz-Fischer-Hütte, located 2km south-southwest. A little further is Oberviehhofalm. 5 km southwest of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
