Description:
Gamshalt is 2289 meter high peak in the Kaiser Mountains. The peak is located 0.4 km north-northwest of peak Ellmauer Halt. The nearest mountain hut is Gruttenhütte, located 1.6km southeast. Even closer is bivouac Babenstuberhütte, which is located 0.4km to the south-southeast. 7 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Hintersteiner See. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Kaiserbachtal.
