Treffauer

Description:
Treffauer is 2306 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register and is part of the Kaiser Mountains. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km northeast from the center of Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser and 5 km north from the center of Ellmau and 1.1 km southwest of peak Ellmauer Halt. The nearest mountain hut is Gruttenhütte, located 1.6km east. Even closer is bivouac Babenstuberhütte, which is located 1.0km to the northeast. 6 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Hintersteiner See. Northeast of the summit is the valley Kaiserbachtal.
