Sonneck

Description:
Sonneck is 2260 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Kaiser Mountains. The peak is located 0.9 km northwest of peak Treffauer. The nearest mountain hut is Hans-Berger-Haus, located 2km north. A bit closer is bivouac Babenstuberhütte, which is located 1.4km to the east. 6 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Hintersteiner See. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Kaiserbachtal.
