Description:
Gamskogel is 2813 meter high peak with a cross and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 3 km southwest from the center of Gries and 3 km northeast from the center of Huben. The nearest mountain hut is Nisslalm, located 2km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Wöckelwarte. 5 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Säuischbachferner, 6 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Bachfallenferner.
