Description:
Lochkogel is 3044 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 3 km south-southwest from the center of Gries and 3 km east-northeast from the center of Huben. The nearest mountain hut is Nisslalm, located 2km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Wöckelwarte. 5 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Säuischbachferner, 6 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Kuhscheibenferner.
