Description:
Hochgutegg is 2332 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 1.9 km east of peak Gamskogel. The nearest mountain hut is Nisslalm, located 0.6km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Wöckelwarte. 3 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Säuischbachferner, 4 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Bachfallenferner.
