Description:
Geierstein is 885 meter high peak in the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 2 km southeast from the center of Türnitz and 3 km northeast from the center of Weidenaurotte. The nearest mountain hut is Türnitzer Hütte, located 4km east. A bit closer is bivouac Jubiläumswarte, which is located 1.8km to the north. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Steinparztal.
