Hinterer Maurerkeeskopf is 3311 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 10 km north-northwest from the center of Hinterbichl and 11 km northwest from the center of Prägraten and 1.9 km northeast of peak Vorderer Maurerkeeskopf. The nearest mountain hut is Warnsdorfer Hütte, located 3km west. A little further is bivouac Blinigalm. 1.2 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Krimmlertörlkees, 1.3 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Maurerkees. The peak is located east of the valley Krimmler Achental.
