Vorderer Maurerkeeskopf is 3325 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.4 km north-northeast of peak Östliche Simonyspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Warnsdorfer Hütte, located 2km northwest. bivouac Blinigalm is a bit further away. 0.9 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Maurerkees, 1.2 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Krimmler Kees. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Krimmler Achental.
