Description:
Hochkreut is 959 meter high peak in the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 3 km west from the center of Neukirchen bei Altmünster and 4 km southwest from the center of Reindlmühl. The nearest mountain hut is Hochsteinalm, located 6km southeast. Closer is bivouac Neukirchen Winkl, which is located 1.7km to the south-southeast. 4 km south of the peak there is lake Vorderer Langbathsee. The peak is located northeast of the valley Weißenbachtal.
