Hochschober

Description:
Hochschober is 3240 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Schober Group. The peak is located in country Austria 7 km southeast from the center of Lesach and 7 km north-northeast from the center of Gwabl. The nearest mountain hut is Hochschoberhütte, located 2km south. A little further is bivouac Gösnitzkopf-Biwak. 0.7 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Staniskakees, 7 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Hornkees. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Debanttal.
