The nearest mountain hut is Elberfelder Hütte, located 4km east-northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Gösnitzkopf-Biwak, which is located 3km to the east-northeast. 5 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Hornkees. Southeast of the summit is the valley Debanttal.
