Description:
Hochschober is 1474 meter high peak and is part of the Ammergau Alps. The peak is located 3 km south-southeast of peak Schellkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Fürchterlichhütte, located 4km west-northwest. A bit closer is Brandöder Diensthütte, which is located 3km to the north-northwest. 7 km west of the peak there is lake Plansee. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Zwischentoren.
